The beautiful Bullhead
lyre (on left), which inspired our tie-tack, was discovered in the late 1920’s, in the so-called King’s Grave in the Royal Cemetery at Ur. The instrument dates to ca. 2600-2500 B.C.
24 Karat gold-plate over pewter. Measures approximately 0.75” x 1”.
