The beetle being the emblem of Khepera, the God of the morning sun, was regarded
by ancient Egyptians as a significant symbol of resurrection and immortality.
Possibly New Kingdom, circa 1300-1000 B.C.
24K gold-plate over Sterling silver, enhanced by Scarab engraved Carnelian.
