Greek Minoan Bees pendant

Our Minoan Bee jewelry was inspired by a Minoan Bee Pendant, found in the Old Palace cemetery at Chrysolakkos, outside the Palace of Malia, the third largest Minoan Palace on the island of Crete, in Greece.

It dates back to the Bronze Age, to the Protopalatial Period (1800-1700 BC) and it's a very detailed representation of two bees, carrying a drop of honey to their honeycomb.

24K antique gold plate over pewter. 18" Gold-plate chain.
Measures approximately 1.25" x 1.3".
