Lotus SMALL pendant

     The Lotus flower that rises in the morning from the muddy waters to flower is a symbol of purity, resurrection, and perfect beauty. The Lotus motif in this jewelry is inlaid with Horus' blue enameled eye shape.

     Egypt, New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty. Dating: 1570 BC–1293 BC.

     24 Karat gold-plate over pewter, with blue enamel. 18" Gold-plate chain.
