This gondola pin is inspired by the series of Venetian cityscapes painted by Claude Monet in 1908.
Monet painted a series of Doges Palace images from a gondola moored in the middle of the canal. The Doges’ Palace in Venice is a stunning image with a sun-splashed façade reflected in the rippling blue, green and yellow tone waters of the canal.
