Carnelian Leaf earrings

       The idea of the leaf design adornment is derived from Queen Puabi's jewelry from the Royal Tombs of Ur.  Queen Puabi's jewelry dates from the 3rd millennium B.C. (2600-2500 B.C.) and was discovered in the 1920s.

       24 Karat gold-plate over brass enhanced by Carnelian.  Gold-filled ear-wires.
Each earring measures approximately 1.25" x 1".
