       The idea of the leaf design adornment is derived from Queen Puabi's jewelry from the Royal Tombs of Ur.  Queen Puabi's jewelry dates from the 3rd millennium B.C. (2600-2500 B.C.) and was discovered in the 1920s.

       24 Karat gold-plate over brass enhanced by Lapis.  Gold-filled ear-wires.
Each earring measures approximately 1.25" x 1".
