Lapis Leaf(br)Necklace

       The idea of the leaf design adornment is derived from Queen Puabi's jewelry from the Royal Tombs of Ur.  Queen Puabi's jewelry dates from the 3rd millennium B.C. (2600-2500 B.C.) and was discovered in the 1920s.

       16" Lapis necklace with 5 leaf sections of 24 Karat gold-plate over brass.  
Each leaf measures approximately 1.25" x 1".
